Step back in time and experience a slower, wilder pace of life in a working , yet historical town that is full of stories, history and adventures! You will be close to everything at Crotty Cottage, 5mins walk to the township, pubs, shops, restaurants and the Wilderness Railway. Base yourself in Queeny to explore locally and beautiful Strahan. Come take a walk on the wild side of Tassie!! Crotty Cottage is like stepping back in time, with a twist! Cosy, warm and comfortable, great coffee machine, heat pump and comfy electric recliners add to the original character. Please note we wash dishes by hand, the floor creaks sometimes when you walk on it and the decor is retro! We are slowly acquiring local art and photography to fill our walls, so enjoy! Savour the difference and enjoy the slowness of this unique and quirky town.

Rebecca was an excellent host, beautiful home in a gorgeous spot. We had a great stay. Wet weather kept a lot of activity quiet but we found lots to do and enjoyed some local food. When it was sunny we truly appreciated the beauty of the place and explored some hikes around the area. Comfy stay, great coffee machine!! Warm and cozy, was good for puzzle making days when things were too wet. Rebecca gave us great advice and ideas for helping make the most of our trip.
