We recently entered a challenge at Snowdon and stayed here as 12 adults. Size was great, plenty of rooms, seemed to go on forever. Bedding comfy. Top floor had no toilet facilities so they had to share the bathroom. Ensuites were handy, if a little dated with the shower. More towels would have been lovely. Plenty of heating, which was lovely. Lots of kitchen utensils. Parking was ok, not plenty of space. Location great, close to local amenties. Playroom was a little spooky and creepy! Overall a great stay for what was required.

A lovely large house with reasonably sized bedrooms which suited our party of 16. We found the playroom a great addition. It was also great to have a dining room table large enough for us all to sit round. Some things could do with improving though. The photos are a little deceptive as the house needs some maintenance. Bedding and towels were poor quality. Finding utensils and crockery was a challenge in the kitchen and it was all quite disorganised. Bathrooms and showers definitely need some work.

Beautiful big old house in a great location, perfect for accessing Snowdonia, Betws-y-coed, Conwy and Llandudno. A few niggles affected our enjoyment though, including one of the showers not working, a temperamental oven, and some aspects where cleaning could have been better, including a roasting tin that we needed to scrub before use. Overall, we would definitely return though.

Great house for a big group, and really handy being right in Llanrwst yet in a larger self contained house. Parking is a bit tight but there's plenty just over the road in the library car park for free.
