A stay at Suites by the Sea is a gateway to exploring mid-coast Maine. Considered the heart of the Maine coast, Lincolnville offers sandy beaches, hiking trails, local lakes, restaurants ferry ride across Penobscot Bay and charming shops. The surrounding area offers even more adventures for enjoying your Maine vacation.
A short 4 mile drive to Camden Hills State Park will give you miles of hiking trails to explore. Hike or drive to the top of Mount Battie fore beautiful views of Penobscot Bay and the harbors dotting the coast line. A short drive north or south will take you to several quaint small towns with more shopping, restaurants, site, schooner tours and more.
Want to experience breathtaking views? Make it a day of exploring and travel to Acadia National Park, about 1 1/2 hours away. Visit Cadillac Mountain, the first place to see the sunrise in America (Oct. - Mar.). Be sure to visit their website for visitor information and reservations.
Craving some traditional New England sea food? There are 3 restaurants across the street, The Whale's Tooth (open year round), The Lobster Pound and Lobster Shack (seasonal). To start your morning off, stroll (or drive) a bit further to Green Tree Coffee & Tea or Dots.
Please note: we are located directly on Route 1, which makes getting here easy; however, you will have traffic noise. Two of the bedrooms are in the back of the building and get less noise. When the AC is running it does block most of the noise.

Conveniently located on route 1 makes driving to Suites by the Sea easy. You will need a vehicle to explore the area.
