If you are looking for a winter wonderland in a picturesque country surrounding with wooded trails and brookside campfires, this place will not disappoint you. It's country living with closeness to city access, but once there, you won't want to leave. Lisa was an amazing hostess, ensuring you were situated and settled.

We loved our cozy stay with kids over New Year. Lisa and Fred were very kind, very easy to get ahold of if needed, thoughtful and checked in on us when we briefly lost power. I was happy we could bring our Golden who loved ripping around in the snow and on trails. My little boy loved checking up on the cows next door. Lisa had the tree and lights left up for us to enjoy. My husband said the kitchen was very nice for cooking ( I wouldn’t know! haha) and the beds were really comfortable. Loved the shower, big tub, and we enjoyed the close access to nice snowy trails. How very fortunate they are to have this lovely spot and how nice they open it up to share. Thank you for having us and will recommend and likely return!

הבית של ליסה היה פשוט מושלם עבורנו. כמו חלום. בית בתוך היער, נקי, מסודר, מטופח, עם כל הציוד שנדרש וחשיבה על כל פרט קטן. המיטות נוחות, מקלחות מעוצבות, נהנינו מכל רגע. ליסה המארחת הייתה מדהימה. נענתה לכל בקשה ואף עשתה מעל ומעבר לכל ציפיותינו עם פינוקים וסיוע. מומלץ בחום רב

Lisa and Fred were great hosts. Upon our arrival they had fresh fruit and veggies from their farm and bread for us, which was so thoughtful and kind. The house was super clean and free of clutter. There’s was clear instructions on the dining room table. The screened in gazebo with the big green egg charcoal stove an awesome amenity, my partner and I made homemade pizza and Fred was kind enough to drop off some charcoal to us! Amazing beautiful home, peaceful and private.

We had a great stay at Galloway House! It was a perfect weekend spot for our group and a beautiful home and property. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful and attentive.
