Rick ist ein großartiger Gastgeber. Er war jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Da es Probleme mit der ursprünglichen Unterkunft gab, hat er uns eine wunderschöne Alternative angeboten und sogar noch eine Bootstour mit uns gemacht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, vielen Dank!

Wanted a place near a not crowded beach to spend a week of quality time with the family. Richard’s place was right on target. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but Richard’s lengthy description was spot on in accuracy. He accurately described the lack of nearby places to get groceries and the minimal number of restaurants in the vicinity. Thanks to his info, we easily found a major grocery in route and stocked up on what we would need for the week. Upon arrival, Raphael met us and showed us how to find everything in the well equipped unit and also gave us info on what restaurants were in reasonable driving distance. The only issue of note was the difficulty in regulating the shower temperature, which we learned was a neighborhood issue. In summary, we loved the place - relaxing in the pool, walking the beach, and the warm ocean. Lobster Cove is pretty shallow,so not for surfing or snorkeling, but just fine for us.

My family stayed at Richard's place to celebrate New Year and stayed in the downstairs apartment. It worked perfectly for a group of four adults. We were met at the gate by a friend of his and let into the property. We wanted fresh seafood and were provided the name and number of another friend who had the inside scoop. In short, if he's made sure to have a group of dedicated neighbors ready to lend a hand. Nobody was in the main house during our stay, so the pool area was for our personal use. If we wanted to get into the ocean, we simply walked down the stairs and were on the beach! His place is well appointed with everything you need to cook on site; there are many beach towels and even some games. We like to cook, so we made use of the kitchen. We also drove into town and hired a boat to do some island hoping. We will definitely come back to this location and you'll be sure to enjoy your stay!

What an outstanding Airbnb experience - Richard and his neighbor, Rafael, were fantastic hosts. We had to leave our previous booking a few days early and Richard kindly let us rent out the main house since the smaller apartment was occupied. The whole experience was awesome - phenomenal location, amenities, and communication. We had some interesting experiences, including a serious tropical storm that knocked out power overnight, but the house has a good generator if needed. If we ever needed anything, Rafael came over in a flash and fixed us up. The house itself is fully equipped and has access to a very private, swimmable beach as well as private pool. Boca Chica is also a cute town with a few good restaurants and nice views. Thanks again for a great stay!
