Magical is how our guests most describe their experience with us. You'll discover just why we are an all 5 star review property. Giant Granddaddy Oaks draped in moss, and the lush full gardens of our estate. You'll feel welcomed to seclusion, paradise, and more. Near to restaurants, bars, shopping, and entertainment, yet still isolated from the bustle of life. Relax by the pool, or soak away your worries in our hot tub. And then there's Sox the cat, and Chester, our St. Berdoodle pup as well. Set on some acres, as are the neighboring homes, this is an upscale neighborhood, quiet, safe, with multi million dollar properties around us. We live here, and the apartment is attached to our home, but is also completely separate and private, with its own entrance. We are just a few minutes from Santos Trails, and the Florida Horse Park. The historic district downtown is an easy 8-10 minute drive. The WEC (World Equestrian Center) a quick 15 minute drive. The apartment is studio style, generously proportioned, and located on the second floor, accessed by a short flight of stairs. A custom made antique Queen+ sized bed, table and chairs, wall mounted TV, etc. The bathroom has shower, WC and wash basin. The kitchenette a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven/air fryer, and kettle. In the gardens just outside the apartment, a full size picnic table and charcoal grill, as well as a fire pit. Our grounds, paddocks, and gardens are yours to enjoy, along with the pool and hot tub area. Towels are provided, as is an outdoor shower. Upon arrival you'll find all information needed to enjoy your stay, including our phone number for easier communications. Guest gate code, too, so you can come and go as you please.

Kate was excellent from start to finish, she accommodated our arrival time and gave us a run down on the place. Everything was as described and it was so nice to open the blinds in the morning and look out on the peaceful scenery and animals. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the small kitchen was well equipped, a wonderful stay. To top it all off the barn kitty was always there to greet us when we returned, we were sad to leave but we would gladly come back, thank you Kate and John!
Great place, would stay there again. It was a good location while still be private and peaceful.
We had a wonderful stay at Kate’s property. The location was convenient to all of the things we wanted to do. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the apartment was perfect for two! The pool area was gorgeous and we really enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely return!
I’m a horse owner and the horse farm setting is my familiar and my happy place. Kate and John’s home is perfect. I was pleasantly surprised to even find a listing like this one! It was quiet and Kate is very personable and welcoming. We had several long chats, such a lovely person to visit with. Her dog was a favorite as well. The property is so private with beautiful trees with the famous Ocala Spanish moss hanging from the branches. We took walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed the area immensely. We enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool. My daughter read for hours in the hot tub. The perfect get away location if you love the peacefulness of the country. The surroundings, dog, and Kate made it feel like home. We know where to stay when we visit Ocala again! Thank you Kate and John for sharing your beautiful home with us!
We had a wonderful time at Kate and John's Airbnb in Ocala. The space was lovely and the views of the live oaks and horses were simply gorgeous. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do, and Kate and John were sweet and accommodating hosts. We would definitely stay here again!

Upscale SE neighborhood with majestic grand daddy oaks and bucolic views of surrounding horse farms. 1.5 Mile west of Santos Trailhead with over 60 miles of mountain bike trails.
Easy parking on our property. We do recommend having a car.

We're Kate & John, and we're happy to host your stay. We offer our spacious, efficiency/studio style apartment as part of a private small estate in the heart of horse country. Your own separate secure entrance, kitchenette, bathroom, queen bed, etc. Bring your horses, we have paddocks and stalls (inquire about rates). We're just 20 minutes from The World Equestrian Center, and 1 mile from Santos State Park, for your walking/riding/biking pleasures. And we're only 5 minutes from the Florida Horse Park, and so much more. And still only 10 minutes from downtown, and Ocala's Historic Square. Relax and stroll our grounds and paddocks filled with giant oaks, maples and more. Watch the leisure and competition horses grazing or practicing on adjoining properties and enjoy the serenity and wildlife that surrounds you. Indulge of our pool, our hot tub, and more, clothing optional if you prefer. A picnic table and charcoal BBQ grill in the grounds of the apartment too for that afternoon glass of chilled wine.
