The house is not clean. The kitchen cabinets, glasses and cutlery are dirty. Next to that the bed sheets were dirty (hair?!), sofa was full of dog hairs and there were no towels for so far we could see. Also the shower did not work and kitchen water did not work, Joacim informed us on the water issue the day before arrival. There was no instruction guide for the house. The boat and canoe are full of water and thus not available. We addressed the lack of cleaning to Joacim day after arrival however we had no choice except for staying since the area is remote and there were no options available. We requested a compensation from Joacim however, Joacim barely replied and later provided a compensation (85 euro) that was not in relation to the inconvenience. The house is described as a luxurious villa however we had to clean the kitchen so that we could eat and got sheets so that we could sleep in a clean bed. This was not how we envisioned our family holiday. I don’t recommend this place!

The house and the surroundings are amazing. It is quiet, clean, located in the middle of beautiful nature, spacious, totally private, stuffed with everything you need for a group of five adults and even offers sufficient indoor toys and outdoor activity tools (trampoline, swing, sand box, …) to keep four kids busy for days. Joacim was very responsive and carefully answered all our questions up front and during the stay. This was exactly the Värmland experience we were hoping to get: A beautiful and secluded Sweden house in the middle of nowhere, with a nice and spacious garden and direct access to a lake. We simply loved our stay, and we are seriously planning to come back and stay longer.
