Dar Amusafir is in a quiet, secure area, in the heart of the medina; close to shopping, cafes, bars and an easy walk to the beach. For those with mobility impairment there are no stairs. Offering: - Free Optic Fibre Wifi - TV; international channels & Netflix - electric log heater - 160 x 200cm beds - sitting area in bedrooms - bedroom door locks - separate bath and shower with seat - USB Ports, power points on each side of beds - self catered breakfast ingedients - city tours, Taxis Brand new, open plan, stylish Bed & Breakfast, with a fully equipped kitchen. This ground floor apartment is light, with windows on 3 sides, comfy seating in the living and dining areas, as well as each bedroom. Each bedroom also has dimmer switches on lighting, USB ports and power points beside each side of the bed, and there are extra power points near all sitting areas. There is a bathroom with separate shower and soaker bath, and a separate toilet. The apartment is suitable for couples, friends or small families. For those with mobility impairment, their are no steps or stairs and a seat has been built into the shower. A 79cm wheelchair can also be used in all rooms except the bathroom and toilet.

This lovely apartment is clearly designed by someone who has traveled a lot. Jennifer has thought of all the little touches that make a temporary accommodation work well: fully stocked kitchen, including spices; breakfast things in the fridge; clutter-free spaces; lights in the right places; nice bathrooms with a strong shower; comfortable seating; USB port by bedsides; a helpful booklet of local information. The beds were comfortable, wifi strong, apartment quiet, a block off a main medina street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Jennifer communicated quickly and clearly.
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine essaouira. L'appartement est centrale. Il est très bien équipé et les lits sobt confortable. La propiétaire est très amicale et aidante pour reserver un taxi ou autre.
Jennifer est une hôte extrêmement accueillante. Son appartement est neuf, avec une décoration raffinée, très bien équipé, tout plein de petites attentions, central dans la médina.. Bref tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour être heureux et passer un super séjour à Mogador ( j adore 😉) Merci Jennifer

Fabulous stay! Excellent location and amenities. Jennifer was extremely helpful from start to finish. Arranging a taxi to and from the airport, a lovely welcome note with map and recommendations for restaurants catering for coeliacs, and quick responses for any questions we had. Fresh bread delivered each morning, and gluten free bread arranged as well! The accommodation was exactly what we wanted and thought it would be like by looking at the pictures; and it had everything you could need and more. Everything little thing has been thought of. Being right in the heart of the medina was wonderful, just off the Main Street in a quiet cut de sac so lovely and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

Set 40 metres from the main shopping street, this apartment is so close to everything, but still in a very quiet residential cul-de-sac.
The ancient medina has narrow streets, so there is no transport inside the walls. Bring your walking shoes. Taxis are available outside of the 3 main Babs (Gates), or can be hailed on the street All taxis operating within Essaouira township are shared taxis, taking up to 3 passengers at a flat rate of 7dh per ride from 08:00 to 20:00, or 8dh after that.
Larger taxis or local buses service the small towns around Essaouira.

Hi, I was a full time traveller, but have settled into a new life in Essaouira. I loved my nomadic life because I always met new people, so have now opened Dar Almusafir (House of the Traveller) in beautiful Essaouira, Morocco, to hopefully continue that tradition.
