我们度过了一个非常舒服及愉快的周末在Dominic 的湖边木屋，房屋及其utility的维护也非常好，如果有机会的话我们会再次访问这里！

Wonderful stay. It was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. It’s 15ish minutes away from Sturbridge to grab groceries, etc. We did have to flip the breaker for the heat a few times, but we went in the middle of February when it was SO cold and very windy- it’s an old place, we get it. At the end of the day we had heat and that’s all that mattered. The place had perfect views of the reservoir and great morning sunshine into the common room. We would stay at Dominic’s place again in the future ! Such a cute homey place.

exactly as described by the host. house was cozy and quiet. area was calm and homey. enjoyed our 2 week stay. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a quiet getaway. Host's warning about the walkway to the house is correct. It is steep and should be treated with caution as necessary. Parking is tight but doable as well.

We would have written a much more positive review had Dominic not berated and shamed us with unnecessarily strong language after our check out. The stay itself was good, we enjoyed the lake and the cabin. We thought we left the place in a fine condition (we followed his check-out instructions), so we were shocked to receive a message from him the day after check out claiming we "abused his cabin" and should be "ashamed of ourselves." We were super confused because we thought we had followed all his instructions and we were careful to take great care of his place. It turns out this outburst was due to our having moved two lamps (to have more light in the kitchen while cooking), using "too many towels," and having accidentally left the heat on in couple of the rooms. His follow up was completely disproportionate to these minor oversights. It was the only time we received such a message from an airbnb host and it completely ruined our experience.

we had a great time! it was peaceful and beautiful. the lake was a great place to relax and cool off. definitely will be back when we come to Brimfield!
