Relax with the family on 200 ft of private beachfront. End the night with a relaxing fire on the beach or cozy up indoors. This cottage and its grounds have been a treasure and source of fun for my family for decades.

Haley was an excellent hostess! We were a family of 6 that were very comfortable in the house. I can’t recommend this place enough! Haley is one of the most thoughtful hostesses we have come in contact with. We were celebrating two birthdays. Haley gave me addresses of recommended bakeries in the area for the cakes and had birthday balloons and a card for us when we checked in. CLASS ACT!!!
This is a beautiful place, clean, with lots of amenities to enjoy a peaceful week on lake huron. I can see why many generations have loved this cottage. Haley was extremely helpful and responsive, along with providing a comfortable place to call home for the week.
This is my new favorite place to rent when we go up north! The owner was super helpful and easy to talk to. You will not be disappointed if you rent here. It’s adorable and super private!

The cottage is located on a quiet, private street. It is just a quick 2 minute drive to downtown Oscoda and 25 minutes to Tawas City. The neighborhood includes all privately owned cottages, all with their own beach area.
There are 3 parking spaces available on site. Oscoda offers many outdoor activities such as tubing/kayaking down the Au Sable river, swimming in Lake Huron and hiking/biking the never-ending trails.
Tawas City offers more opportunities for a downtown shopping experience.
