RELAX at this tranquil getaway! Enjoy your private sandy beach, FREE kayak use, miles of oceanside trails, and four local lighthouses. The views from living room and master bedroom are exceptional! Sparkplug lighthouse is to your left and West Quoddy, a short walk to your right. Canada’s Campobello and Grand Manan islands are also in view. The house has three bedrooms: two king size, one queen and two full bathrooms, one ADA. An additional rental is also available if you need more space. This three bedroom, two bath, house features a queen bed in one bedroom, a king bed in the main floor bedroom, and a king bed in master bedroom upstairs. The views from the large living room with of the open ocean, Campobello Island and West Quoddy State Park are mesmerizing! There is a dining table for six in a small glassed-in section off the kitchen that overlooks the beach. The kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and all the amenities of home including a coffee maker, blender and more. A washer and dryer is included that is easily accessed off the living room. There is parking for three vehicles and a 100 ft path to one of the few private sandy beaches in Lubec. The house is handicapped accessible. The main floor bedroom off the kitchen includes a complete ADA attached bathroom. The ADA ramp is attached to the deck overlooking the ocean and the kitchen is also ADA accessible. A gas grill and dining table are situated on the outside deck overlooking the beach. Lubec has over 150 miles of hiking trails, mostly coastal, and this apartment is centrally located and within walking distance to some of the best. There is a separate two bedroom loft apartment located on the property that is also for rent if you wish to bring along your family and friends! A beachfront fire pit and Adirondack chairs line the shore for evening gatherings, marshmallow roasts, or star gazing!

Beautiful home with stunning views from every room. Loved opening the windows and hearing the ocean waves day & night. The private sand beach is magical and we were able to walk out to a sandbar at low-tide and watch seals sunbathe on the rocks. Our host thought of everything and was an excellent communicator. We felt totally comfortable settling into this home. Plus, it just has a lovely, peaceful vibe! ☺️✨💗
We had a perfect stay in a Lubec at Heather’s place! The place is warm and spacious, and felt like being at home. The rooms were all beautiful and immaculate. It had all of the amenities you could expect, from kitchen appliances to televisions and even a small office nook with a printer. But most important was the beach! It’s a serene, small private beach and felt like we had an entire ocean to ourselves. When low tide comes you can walk for what feels like miles while listening to the sounds of the ocean. We met locals who were gracious and welcoming, and loved to share tips on Lubec. The restaurants and shops are sparse but lovely, and let’s be honest, that’s not why you come here - it’s for the small town Maine coast! Last but not least, Heather is an incredible host. Her communication is lightening speed, and she even took time out of her day to stop by to answer some of our questions and share tips on local food. Thanks for an amazing stay!!!

Beautiful location and home! Fully stocked with everything you could need, great size fridge, lots of room to prep food, etc. Comfy and lots of space in the scenic living room to hang out on rainy days. The deck was spacious with tons of seating as well!

This comfortable and immaculate beach house is in Lubec’s most coveted neighborhood! Quoddy Head State Park is two miles away and the village central is three miles away. Campobello Island, home to the famous Roosevelt’s International Park, the Herring Cove golf course, Moholland Lighthouse and East Quoddy Lighthouse can be accessed by the FDR International Bridge located in the village. This Canadian island is worth visiting and a passport is needed to cross over. At the end of this 9 mile island is the Head Harbor park where you can sit and watch the Fin Back, Minke and oftentimes the Humpback and Right whales frolic in the sea alongside the porpoise and seals!
Lubec and Campobello play host to some amazing restaurants where you can order a famous lobster dinner or lobster roll. Fresh haddock, halibut and more are pulled from the sea daily! Fresh clams, mussels and “wrinkles” are also found at most restaurants, or can be brought home to cook and served on the beach for the ultimate Maine experience!
Lubec is home to some spectacular gift stores, a famous chocolatier, and the county’s best antique store. We have McCurdy’s Museum and a local historical society where you can spend hours learning about Lubec’s fishing industry and other notable historic facts! A local brewery has made headlines and is centrally located on Water Street where you can sip on some amazing brews, talk to the locals, while watching the fishing boats navigate through the Lubec channel! There are several whale watching tours and we highly recommend spending a day at sea! All contact info and directions to each attraction are located in your welcome binder at the loft.
Lubec is known as a magical place where you can completely relax while breathing in the salt air and listening to the waves rush to the shore. Take a hike on one of our many coastal trails and absorb the beauty while the eagles fly overhead. You won’t ever want to leave. We can almost guarantee it.
