Casa La Encina is a beautiful rustic style country house with all the modern conveniences you need to enjoy a great holiday! Situated at the end of a quiet track, surrounded by olive and almond groves and plantations of mangoes and avocadoes with incredible views to the mountains and coast. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large private pool and spacious terraced area offer plenty of space to kick back and relax. We are Superhosts for our other property- airbnb.com/h/casajacarandavelez Upon entering the house, you will find the character filled open plan living room/kitchen/dining room to your left, with doors leading straight out to the terrace. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave and hob/oven and there is also a BBQ area outside with a very large built in table and seating underneath the shaded terrace for al fresco dining. The living room has comfy seating with air conditioning for the summer and a wood burner for the winter months. The sleeping accommodation is to the right as you enter the house. There is a bedroom with 2 single beds immediately opposite as you enter the house, then up the corridor to the right there is a large shower room, and 2 double bedrooms, both with ensuite shower rooms. The master bedroom is equipped with hot/cold air conditioning. The house has been lovingly built in the traditional Andalucian style utilizing local materials such as terracotta tiled floors and wooden beams. The private swimming pool is surrounded by a low wall and measures approximately 7 metres by 5 metres and has a depth of 1.2- 1.4 metres. There are stunning mountain and sea views from the property and the sunsets are incredible! There is ample parking for 3 cars on the gravel driveway.

We had a lovely stay! The pictures certainly don’t do this place justice! Lovely pool which the kids loved. Host was very good at communicating with us. The road to the house is a little treacherous however we were shown the way on arrival and the hire car I had was perfectly suitable. Would recommend to friends and family in the future.
We had a wonderful time at the finca. On the day of arrival we were met at a meeting point and escorted to the house. The walk from the larger street to the house takes about 10 minutes, it is accordingly quiet there. The house is in a great location, with views of the mountains and the sea in the distance. We were received super nice and welcomed with a small culinary attention, also were due to our late arrival already some first food in the refrigerator. Helen has taken great care of us, was always available via Messenger and has pointed us, among other things, a truly great village festival in the neighboring village - that was really a unique experience away from the tourist crowds. The pool was also a dream and the whole family had a lot of fun. We were super happy here, it was a once in a lifetime vacation. Thank you Helen and Alex!

Casa La Encina is situated at the edge of a quiet hamlet with just a few houses nearby. You will be surrounded by nature (passing goats, chickens and mules on the way to the house) and will be able to enjoy the beautiful views in complete privacy.
Local shops and services are about 15mins drive away in the surrounding villages and the historic town of Velez Malaga (with a frequent bus service to Malaga) is about 20 minutes away.
It is definitely essential to have your own vehicle if you are coming to stay at Casa La Encina as the house is situated 15mins drive from any amenities. The house is in the perfect location to explore Andalucia as the beautiful cities of Malaga, Granada and Cordoba are all within a couple of hours drive from the house.
