Take a break in this beautiful country in-law suite, situated on 5 acres. We have olive trees and a seasonal creek! Minimalist design with sparkling pool and hot tub with views. Perfect for a quiet getaway to the eastern California wine country. You'll be able to hike next to the river, explore gold-rush towns and come back to this oasis for a dip in the pool! Wake up every morning to chirping birds and stellar views. For a peaceful weekend or a work away from home break, we've got you covered! There is one bedroom with an XL twin bed, brand new foam mattress and bedding. Freshly painted and styled just for guests. New Turkish towels in the bathroom and separate entrance, which leads out to the pool & hot tub (hot tub is operational September-May). You'll also have a large bonus room to yourself with a futon-which pulls out and can be used as a second bed. We've got a big screen TV (Netflix, Prime), fresh coffee, microwave and, upon request, your own fridge. This in-law is very private and you can relax in our little slice of paradise. 10 minutes from Downtown Placerville (restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios, groceries), 10 minutes from Coloma, wineries, hiking trails, and the North Fork of the American River. If you're visiting for a wedding, white water rafting, skiing, or visiting family in the area, we would love to welcome you. Truly relaxing and peaceful.

Kate’s place was absolutely beautiful. We stayed here while we got married 20 minutes away at our venue. Kate was so flexible and reasonable with us. She went above and beyond to make sure we arrived safe and make sure we didn’t need anything while we were there. The house was so clean it was stunning. Perfect oasis for us to get away. Very private. Will most definitely be staying here. If you’re considering this place, DO IT!!! Kate makes it more than worth it.

We had a lovely stay! Kate was an incredible host, very clear instructions. It’s tough to find the entrance in the dark but with her clear instructions we were able to get all checked in despite arriving later than we planned. She was so kind and constantly checking in to make sure that we had everything that we needed to be comfortable. The pool is delightful and there’s a gorgeous view of the placerville countryside to enjoy. Despite there not being a kitchenette there’s access to a large fridge in the garage, as well as a microwave and dishes. She also leaves coffee and tea and water and wine glasses and other things so you almost don’t need a kitchenette at all. The space was comfy and inviting. We were in town for a wedding and we’re both pretty introverted and we’re happy to have a nice quite peaceful place to come back to for relaxation! Thanks Kate, if we’re in Placerville again you’d be our first choice to stay again! ❤️
