Wonderful fast responding host, plenty of room in the house and on the balcony’s. Host messaged us that the home was ready and we could have an early check-in, without us asking, and was a very much appreciated. We did appreciate everything these amazing hosts did to make our stay wonderful.

We chose this listing because it could accommodate 13 people. The large dining table was great & a coffee bar was provided. Things that weren't so great: lack of hot water (we had to stagger showers) & it took forever to warm up; unsafe lower deck - super sketchy; we couldn't get the door open to access the upper deck; the entire place is a DIY project in progress; construction debris all over outside; washer had a funky smell until we'd done a couple of loads; darts for dartboard unusable; pool table has seen better days & tips loose on the cues; intermittent lighting in the basement (tried to do a puzzle & had trouble seeing it even with a floor lamp brought in); those who stayed in the rooms with queen beds said they were very firm. Be aware of steep roads to get to this location - it was pretty scary driving in the snow with an all wheel drive SUV.

Once we got into the cabin, we had a very peaceful & serene stay with family. First major issue was the path to get to the cabin is not paved and during winter is not suitable for vehicles that don’t have AWD or 4x4. Ended up leaving non AWD vehicles by the mailboxes and using 4x4 truck to shuttle people up to cabin, as needed. Other minor issues were: the gas grill outside didn’t work and the showers upstairs and mid level didn’t work right (but lower level worked fine). Every single thing else worked great! TVs, kitchen appliances, pool table, space heaters, etc were all in good working order. Did not try to use AC units as was during winter time.
