Excellent host, the kind that predicts what you’ll need/want. Apt was clean and well cared for. I recommend water shoes off the dock and it could use a new ladder but otherwise very useful. Location was fine, the naval yard has lots to do and fast ferry to Hamilton. Great trip! Bermudians are LOVELY people, always friendly and welcoming. Will be back :))

The Dockyard area has advantages. Four restaurants, peace, parks, shopping in walking distance and easy access to the ferry and bus. Passes can be purchased at the Dockyard if it is a day they are open. Passes include unlimited bus and ferry use. Dockyard area offers great shore fishing. The accommodation was generous in size. Tons of space, a good kitchen and two deep soaker type bath tubs ! A private laundry for each unit was another plus. The biggest downside was the furnishings. The architect did their job but the interior designer obviously had no money. The interior furniture is not luxury, its cheap stuff and furniture itself is lacking in the rooms. Pillows were horrible … overstuffed polyester. Our host was great and even picked up a small Christmas tree for us ! The property is owned by the WEDCO (West End Development Company) which is owned by the government of Bermuda. CONCLUSION: A great setting with good host but cheap, non-luxury furniture, including the bedding.

Fantastic stay in Bermuda- the apartment was clean modern and very spacious. I would suggest hiring a moped or an electric car - as the nearest supermarket is a 10 min drive away, making shopping difficult if you use the public transport . We experienced a mix up on check in however Tiara quickly sorted the issue and was on hand throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and felt at home. Bermuda is beautiful, clean, safe and everyone is so friendly. Would definitely recommend on all levels - however take plenty of money - you’ll need it!
