Overall the place was as described, clean and convenient, and for the most part Carli was responsive in most of our communications. Checking in and out was a breeze. Unfortunately one of the windows in one of the bedrooms wouldn’t latch, and the cigarette and weed smoke from the street (lots of bars around), and winter cold air made that bedroom practically unusable. Despite notifying Carli as soon as we arrived, and continuing probing for resolution throughout our stay, the issue remained unaddressed by the time we left. Considering we traveled with a 3 year old and pregnant wife, this was more than a mere inconvenience. After leaving and continuing to probe for some kind of resolution unsuccessfully, I asked for a refund of less than 50% of total. Considering 1 of 2 bedrooms was unusable, plus added aggravation of having to deal with all this, I thought it was only fair. Carli responded with a refund of just 10%, and AirBnB said there was nothing else they could do.

A great little spot! Felt more like a hotel than an airbnb. Spotlessly clean! Check in was a breeze, Carli sent all necessary instructions. Location is very walkable, cute restaurants/ are all around (we really liked Le Darling, Ginos Negronis & Lasagna, and Bar Henrietta). Metro stop is a 4 minute walk from Airbnb so very accessible to the rest of Montreal. No elevator so if there are folks w mobility restrictions that’d be something to consider. Overall very happy & would definitely stay here again ◡̈

I’ve stayed in a few airbnbs in Montreal over the years and Carli’s place is by far the best one. The building is easy to find and close to plenty of great restaurants and sights. We were able to walk everywhere. The apartment is sparkling clean with everything you could need or want. The beds are very comfortable and we enjoyed having breakfast in the kitchen. Carli is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and we will definitely be staying here on future trips!
