The location was great! We walked to dinner two nights and took walks on the boardwalk. The ocean was literally 100 yards away- we could hear the waves and see the sunset from our patio. When we got there, a chair was broken on the patio and within a few hours, they sent a guy with 4 new chairs that we all could comfortably sit outside on. It was a beautiful location and house and our stay was great!

Superb location! Steps from the beach and all the action. The attached garage was much appreciated as parking in the area is horrible. Very detailed check in instructions so it was easy to access the unit. The listing photos are outdated and much of the furniture is different. The host responded quickly to our request for additional linens. The only real issue we had was the sliding patio door did not lock. We did not feel unsafe, but the patio is right on the boardwalk, so it's a very high foot traffic area (also great for people watching!) . Overall it was a pleasant stay and the condo was well equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Let me start by saying you can not beat the location of this place. It’s right on Mission Beach seconds from the beach which was wonderful with our 2 kids. Great people watching from the porch with nonstop people walking, running, biking and rollerblading on the path. The pictures are NOT up to date. I believe they were taken when the house was staged because they do not look exactly like the place does now. Which we were a bit disappointed about. I know we are close to the ocean which can bring its own issues but the place had a lot of bugs (flies, ants and spiders). Also the freezer leaked horribly, handle of the stove broke off when we opened it to cook the first time and there was a weird smell in the home. We enjoyed our family vacation overall but had greater expectations for a place at this cost and I wish the pictures were more accurate. The rental company was extremely responsive and was always checking in on us, which was appreciated.

Very organized and efficient process. Fantastic location. We also took advantage of the personal Chef experience which cooked dinner for us at the home one evening. That chef and food was excellent.
