We had an amazing time - the apartment was spacious, had a very well-equipped Kirchen, a nice shower and a very comfortable bed. Susan & Rob are great hosts - always friendly, helpful and with great recommendations for things to do. We would def stay here again!

I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Amarilla for a week and it was a home away from home!Some highlights: - an exceptionally clean, spacious yet suite with every amenity you could need. Extremely well-stock kitchen and ultra comfy bed with heated mattress pad. - Hot tub on the deck with views of the ocean and beautiful yard (trees, flowers, gardens, etc) - Fabulous location near the ocean, beaches, trails, Royal Roads campus - Wonderful hosts who are gracious, welcoming and committed to ensuring their guests have the best stay. I’m so grateful to have had a week getaway here and look forward to returning. Thank you.

Susan and Rob's unit is beautiful, cozy and clean. It is very spacious; I was able to do yoga in the dining room. The kitchen is well-stocked and the breakfast bar is big, I wish I had an island like that in my own home! Even though the unit is technically a garden suit, there are many big windows that let in a lot of light, with views of the ocean! Susan and Rob are welcoming and friendly hosts. They gave me a tour of the unit and the whole property when I arrived. How lucky am I they installed an inflatable hot tub on the private patio the week before I arrived? I stayed at their unit while I attended classes at RRU. The walk from their property to campus took approximately 20 - 30 minutes, the majority of which is along the beautiful forested trails of RRU. Every morning started with a peaceful walk to campus, which is a great way to start a full day of studies. I would highly recommend staying with Susan and Rob, and hope to stay with them again in the future.

The only thing more lovely than this homey, comfy, quiet and peaceful ground-level unit was the hosts - Rob and Susan. Their warmth, hospitality, generosity, and helpfulness were wonderful over our one-month stay. We enjoyed the comfy bed, the full kitchen, the pull-out couch, and watching the many birds among the trees on-property, as well as the ocean literally down the street with the lagoon, a paradise for bird watchers. The area is very peaceful and quiet, with lots of beautiful nature nearby. Thank you! Would highly recommend!

Susan was welcoming and friendly. Her home was clean, and very cozy. Fruit plate and a few items in the fridge were a lovely touch. Bed was comfy and the warmer was a nice surprise. Really enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels outside the kitchen window. Thanks again Susan.
