The first photo on this listing indicates what you get at Felicity & Bert’s delightful bach. Comfort and views! We needed a good rest so to sit up in bed attempting to read but actually watching the people water-skiing in the bay below - was so relaxing. Then in the evening sitting in the sun at the outdoor table, looking across the bay to Lyttleton before hoping into the spa and watching the sun’s rays dance on the harbour water – just bliss! The smallness of the room is well made up for by the view & your needs are provided for. Felicity & Bert are friendly hosts but not intrusive and you wouldn’t know they lived above - not a sound!

Felicity and Burt's place was the perfect base for my son and I while visiting family and watching the Sail GP Race. It was peaceful, had an amazing view, comfortable beds and had everything we needed. A lovely breakfast was provided and Felicity made sure she topped up provisions the next day. Best of all was the super friendly reception we received from them both on arrival and departure. Also enjoyed their private, garden walk down to the lake one morning. Would certainly stay again.

Beautiful place, friendly, onto it and very responsive hosts! Restaurant recommended by hosts - WOW! Amazing paella, but even more amazing hospitality! Had the best time!:)
