This place is so private and serene. It was a perfect get away from town.
The location was remote and peaceful. Beautiful views from the upper and lower decks. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The house had lots of amenities to keep everyone entertained; the game room was a big hit with the kids. The host left sweet treats to enjoy and made the house feel very welcoming. It is a wonderful getaway destination and I would recommend to other friends and family.
On our great escape from the city, we were lucky to stay at this beautiful home in Cadiz. Lake Barkley wraps around two sides of the property, which offered amazing views of the lake and forest, ample fresh air, was a great place to do birdwatching during the day, and a fantastic place to look at the stars at night. The house was nice, clean and bright, and has newer appliances. Most beds were very firm, and the sheets were very soft. Being able to park in the garage was a nice perk. A few minor things that needed attention were addressed immediately - we had fantastic communication from the host Allison! There is a lack of cell service in surrounding area, but we were able to connect to the home's wifi (which was limited to two devices, but all three of us were able to connect). The hot tub was great, and the game room pool table, dart board, video golf game, bar, and media room (with seven reclining chairs) for movie night were a fun bonus. We would gladly stay here again!
This lake house was perfect for my family and I for celebrating my mothers 60th birthday. It had enough rooms for everyone and definitely enough space. Allison was wonderful with answering all questions I had before my booking and answered quickly! The lake was fun and her boat recommendations made lake day fun and easy, especially with two little ones. Only complaint I have was the trash from the last people wasn’t taken out completely and it didn’t seem freshly cleaned (the place was not necessarily dirty, but just did not have that “just cleaned before you got here” vibe).
The house is a beautiful! It’s on a secluded Lakefront lot on Lake Barkley—so quiet and peaceful ❤️. We loved the spacious rooms and bathrooms, and we had lots of fun in the basement game/theatre room! Close to LBL and Lake Barkley marina! Thanks for the great memories!
