Newly renovated guest suite on the garden level of our historic Brooklyn row house. We live in the building and occupy the two upstairs levels. You can use your own entrance directly to your floor, bathroom with stall shower, Queen size bed and small kitchen and living room. There is no dedicated workspace so best for someone who doesn’t work much from home, but a perfect oasis for someone exploring the city or traveling to an office in Manhattan. This is a single family home with multiple floors and two entrances, so we use the main entrance and you’ll have an entrance directly to your level down a few steps. You have your own bedroom with queen size bed, small living room and kitchen, and a bathroom with a stall shower. All is newly renovated as of Spring 2022. The living room has laundry and a few pinball machines that you are welcome to use!

A great option if you're planning on visiting NYC! The place is exactly as described with all the amenities you might need for a few days. Public transport is super close, and it is very easy to get around Brooklyn and to Manhattan via train or bus. Anna and Alice are lovely hosts and gave us some great recommendations. Will definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in NYC!

I enjoyed my 3-night stay very much! Anna is kind, responsive, helpful, and flexible. She included a great guide to the space and neighborhood, and I followed her recommendations for bars, food trucks, and restaurants successfully more than once. The space is exactly as pictured. Clean, comfortable, and on a quiet street. I slept like a baby. The bathroom is newly renovated and clean, the kitchen well-stocked. The space is very close to the subway but on a cute and quiet residential street. Sunset Park was a great surprise and experience! I enjoyed both the neighborhood and the actual park. The neighborhood is not yet overly gentrified, and you have a great mix of authentic Mexican and Chinese cuisine around the corner. The park itself is one of the best in NY. Beautiful views of the NY skyline. I had at least one meal a day in the park, watching the Chinese ladies do their dances, the statue of liberty, and the skyline. I can highly recommend the apartment and the area.
Anna was a wonderful host, and her place matched the listing perfectly. checkin/checkout was very flexible and accommodating. 10/10, would book again

Sunset Park is a wonderful multicultural neighborhood with lots going on nearby! It's a busy neighborhood but our block is surprisingly tranquil, very quiet at night with a neighborly residential feel. We are two blocks from Industry City with endless shopping, bars, restaurants, and events. 5 blocks to Sunset Park, a large park with playgrounds, a public pool, and beautiful views of the sunset and Manhattan skyline. It's also one block from historic Greenwood Cemetery. The subway is only one block away and it's an express stop (D, N, and R trains) so it’s very fast into Manhattan. Lots of great great restaurants and bars within walking distance, and a bowling alley on the corner.
We are one block from the express train (D/N) and the local R at 36th Street. You can also take the B63 bus to Park Slope or the B35 to Flatbush. Parking on our block isn’t too hard depending on the time of day, and you only need to move the car once per week for street cleaning.
