This a dog-friendly residence and your four-legged friends will have plenty of space to run around and explore the fenced-in yard!
I believe it’s relevant to state that our stay was during the second week of March. We received light snowfall arrival day and checkout day. Pros: Home was clean Essentials were provided throughout home Location was beautiful Easy check-in Groceries, restaurants, attractions all within reasonable distance Cons: Location of stairs is unsafe for little ones (The stairs leading to the basement are directly in front of front door. The stair railings are really spaced out and a child can easily fall through.) We had to block all access to the stairs which was a huge inconvenience. The main road, Moosa, is at a steep incline. I highly recommend a 4x4 vehicle. However, the street before, Timpa, feels safer. Home is in a neighborhood and not as secluded as we imagined All in all, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.
This is not the listing we stayed at because it was hard to access, smelled like a sewer, and was not maintained. Upon arrival we couldn’t get to the airbnb due to steep icy roads and unshovelled snow covering the driveway and stairs. The lights did not turn on in the downstairs area and the coffee grinder still had coffee grounds in it. We were relocated to their lakeside listing in Monument. This listing is gorgeous and everything was great until we arrived. The driveway was also unkept and covered in snow. The garage was full of trash likely from the guests who stayed at the listing prior. Some blankets had small stains yet there are rules posted on the wall to fully remove make up or you will be charged. We hand washed dishes due to how dirty the inside of the dishwasher was. We also learned there were other small critters in the house. Rat traps and droppings were found in bathrooms, kitchen, and pantry. A disgusting trap was found under the sink soaked in droppings. Just horrible
If I could give Hoste zero starts I would. We originally had a different location but the heater was broken and they couldn’t send someone out(it was around 2am so I understood)they couldn’t give me a different airbnb so I had to get a hotel. They told me they’d have someone look at the heating issue first thing in the morning and they hadn’t until I reached out at 2PM!Said I could wait around til 6pm to see if the issue would get resolved or get me a new one.I chose the new one. By this time it’s after 4pm.This new airbnb was fine but the whole place had a strong sewer smell! After 5days I reached out to Hoste to ask about the refund they had promised me for the night I had to get a hotel and couldn’t speak to a manager. I called, sent messages through Airbnb and left several voicemails to get a call back and they NEVER did. I finally received a message saying your refund is on the way and never did they have the decency to return my call! Do not use this company!
