There is a wood burning fireplace, a firepit, gas bbq grill, and a pet friendly dog run off of the back porch. The home backs onto Tonto National Forest, is around 5 miles to the entrance of Tonto Natural Bridge, and hikers can exit the property on foot and pick up the the Arizona Trail. Wildlife is abundant! Cavalier Cabin was and has always been a space for family. It was built in 1985 as a single family vacation home in the Bradshaw neighborhood in Pine Arizona. We purchased the cabin in 2022, and as the second owners, renovated it to offer modern amenities juxtaposed against its rustic setting. Our cabin offers guests one king bedroom with a romantic platform bed, a 50 inch smart tv and dedicated workstation, and one newly renovated bathroom downstairs, along with the open living and dining area and kitchen. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen including an electric fondue pot. The greatroom fireplace is made from locally quarried Arizona onyx, and the reclaimed barnwood is from a circa 1900s barn in Payson. It is truly a one of a kind place. Included for our furry guest’s convenience is a dog crate and a food/water bowl to borrow during your stay. The loft upstairs includes two sets of bunk beds - one is a twin over twin bed, and the other is a full over twin bed. The loft is open to the downstairs. It also includes a large sectional sofa, 50 inch smart tv, board game table and chairs, beanbag chair, and a few books and games. Outside you will find 1.3 acres with numerous mature pine trees, a propane firepit and bbq grill, and peaceful back porch that overlooks the forest. There is also a fenced dog run right off of the back porch. Please no pets on the furniture or upstairs in the loft, no loose trash or fireplace ashes in the can (it MUST be bagged or we will be fined)
