A beautiful house nestled in nature, perfect for a long weekend getaway. The house was a little hard to find and approach road is unsealed. But the house itself is beautiful. 5 spacious rooms, a dining room, massive kitchen, a living room and plenty of space outside with a fire pit. There is absolutely nothing in the surroundings, just untouched nature, we could hear a variety of animals at night, star studded skies, quiet and peaceful. Just 2 hours away from Mudgee and very close to Coonabarabran star gazing observatories. Wish we had stayed for a few more days! Just a word of caution. This house is literally in the middle of nowhere so there are no restaurants and cafes closeby, and the surroundings have a lot of creepies and crawlies, so if this bothers you, then it's not a good option. We absolutely loved our stay! Berlinda is friendly and responsive and we definitely recommend.

We stayed for a work trade show, was a lovely location and we would totally recommend for a personal getaway. Very cozy and well kept location that you can relax in. Great to come back to after a long day out in the elements. Getting to the location (while being on a private property) was a bit tough in the dark, but residents on the property are very kind and helpful. Not great reception out there till you get to the property if you are with Optus. Berlinda was actually away during our stay, but she still arranged someone to be in communication with us during her absence. Amazing house and a lovely stay.
A beautiful historic home away from the beaten track. We have a 4WD and we’re more than happy with the dirt road access but it is something to be aware of for those less comfortable with remote locations. Was not even remotely challenging in terms of 4WD access but just something to be aware of. That aside, the home and surrounds were beautiful and the hosting was proactive with a warm fire on arrival. Lovely experience
