Spacious home that will accommodate your needs by offering two floors of living! The four main bedrooms are named after Maine landmarks (Baxter, Acadia, Casco Bay, and Moosehead) The Coffee Bar is located on the landing on the second floor with a variety of coffee and mini fridge. The third floor , featuring two additional bedrooms (Little Sebago and Big Sebago) and a quaint den (The Basin) .This area is best for overflow guests. This is an attic space that is still a work in progress. Beechcroft is perfect for a family vacation, reunion, girls weekend or a private getaway ! Super large kitchen and adjacent dining room has more than enough seating for your family and friends ! The same for the gorgeous living room ! Built in 1854 and is detailed in the book, Apron Full of Gold, by Mary Jane Megquier.

This was the perfect spot for our families to gather from around the state for a wedding held locally. Lots of cozy spots to spread out and the large central kitchen made for a fun and comfortable rehearsal dinner. Sally was responsive before and during the stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home and location.
Our family had an amazing experience during our stay. The house was perfect for us, plenty of space for our children and grandchildren. The ability to work remotely on a Friday morning was an added bonus and hosting a dinner for extended family that same evening felt just as seamless as if we were home. Sally & David’s attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. From fresh flowers, to providing extra toothbrushes and a generous amount of towels, it’s clear they’ve considered the needs of their guests. Their house became the perfect backdrop for creating wonderful memories. The biggest win was the quality time we got to spend with our grandkids, which would not have been possible had we stayed in separate hotel rooms. My husband and I wholeheartedly thank Sally and David for enabling us to have such a cherished experience. We thoroughly recommend their property for any large family gatherings or simply for those seeking a warm, welcoming space. It was truly awesome! Five stars all around!

We are walking distance to a wedding venue, brewery, library, and much more . Beechcroft has a huge horseshoe driveway that can accommodate 20 cars if needed .

Our family has lived in Winthrop for 25 years. We are known for being hospitable and entertaining. My husband, David, has worked in the food service industry for over 35 years. As an executive chef, he can cook for 2-500!! I also love to cook along side of him. I enjoy restoring old furniture as well as many other hobbies. We purchased the home in 2015 when all of our children were still living at home. They have since moved. Now, we are offering our extra space for people to enjoy while allowing us to earn some retirement income! The home has a great history in the town of Winthrop and is well known in the area.
