Our time at Piccolo House was absolutely incredible. This chalet in the snow with mountain views and starry nights was perfect for our trip to Hakuba, warm and cozy with modern amenities including heated floors to reheat after a long day on the slopes. The house seems to get cozier the longer you spend there. It was my second time in Hakuba and my partner’s first and I knew I wanted us to stay in Mizorano, central in the ski valley and walking distance to local Echoland restaurants. Everything in the valley is easily accessible from Piccolo House, and with our own rental car it was seamless, but also is well connected with local buses, shuttles and taxis. Our favorite restaurants in the area were Sarugaku, Sobasyubou Zen, and Cheshire (where we walked in for dinner and ended up going back twice more for lunches in this eclectic, family-owned restaurant on the Echoland rotary) and our favorite ski resorts were Goryu and Tsugaike. Thanks to Yuri for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

Phenomenal house, well built with very good furnishings. Kitchen was fully stocked and included miscellaneous items that other hosts don't provide (coffee, salt, cooking oil, etc). Host was very responsive and very helpful with knowledge around the area and suggestions as it was our first time around the area. Overall a wonderful experience.

Our stay at Piccolo House in Hakuba during this green season was wonderful! Located in a peaceful quiet forest area, the house was modern and well furnished, bedrooms were comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Other amenities were also provided which gave it a really nice touch. Yuri was an amazing host, very helpful with information from the start of my booking til our arrival, she made sure we checked in smoothly and gave us useful tips and good recommendations for local places to eat. Her host guidebook was super useful and informative! I would definitely come back here again and I highly recommend this place for those looking to stay in Hakuba!

The house was beautifully accomodating, comfortable and cozy. Yuri was a wonderful host, always communicated clearly and responded quickly. She even arranged lifts for us to and from Hakuba Station. It was a pleasure to stay here and should I ever come back to Hakuba it’ll be right back here.

Great spot, high end brand new house with everything you need. Yuri is an awesome host, extremely helpful and had amazing recommendations for local restaurants. 10 stars Highly recommend staying here
