Incredibly charming chalet with incredible views of nature. Maia was a great host and provided us with some hiking recommendations.

The chalet is in an amazing location right on the river and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. We found the location to be convenient to access shops, hiking trails, for cycling and for wandering around the village. Maja was very welcoming and provided some helpful local information for cycling and hiking. We would definitely stay again!

Can’t say enough good things about this unit. It is absolutely charming and in the center of a very charming town within walking distance of Lake Bohinj. The town hosts tourists but still maintains a very local presence so it’s a great balance. The pics don’t reflect how charming this unit is. We couldn’t take enough pics of it! We just spent hours lounging around the outside of the cottage which is something we never do! The best thing though about the cottage is its location. It’s right in the middle of the small town next to a lovely bridge with a charming stream running right by it. Lots of people and cow watching to do but it’s a small town so it’s not too loud. You’re surrounded by other charming little cottages. Market is a short walk away and a fabulous restaurant is right next door. Maja was a great host and greeted us right away and gave us good tips. The only negative is this is not a good choice for those with mobility issues as the stairs are steep & tricky.

We had a wonderful family holiday in Chalet Hike&Bike. Maja was super helpful in answering all of our questions and making everything easy for us. The chalet is perfect for a small family and in a great location to explore the village (including the lovely restaurant practically next door), the lake and the wider area. As for Lake Bohinj itself, it’s safe to say we all absolutely loved it and will be coming back.
