The Bonita Rita was the perfect location for our “stay-cation” experience far away from home. Got great use of the pool and the sunporch, and its location made getting to the beach a breeze. The size of the home comfortably accommodated our large family and the second unit allowed for a bit of solitude when needed.

This is a beautiful home. Lovely . So many problems over our Xmas holiday. Repeated cold showers. First floor half bath pocket door inoperable- so everyone on first floor had to use first floor primary bath thru bedroom. When asked about this, host admit had been a problem they were going to repair. Home had a hot tub - one of the reasons we rented the place over Xmas. To turn on the hot tub, you had to make a request over Airbnb email - you could not turn it on your self. Eventually, the temperature in the hot tub would rise. At no time, would the jets go on. No bubbles. We were a family of 11 staying for 5 days & 4 nights & had made it clear to our “ super host” that we were cooking our meals at the house. We were left 3 garbage bags for that time period- bought more ourselves- finally were granted more. What we got when we advised our host of issues, were very lawyer- like answers. “This was not listed as an amenity” lovely home - not worth the money.

We just spent a week at Bonita Rita and have nothing but good things to say. The communication was easy and the hosts, Kate and Amber, were quick to address any issues. We rented the entire house which consists of the main 4 bedroom home as well as the 2 bedroom “cottage” side which can only be accessed from outside, but actually provided great separation for our group. Most time was spent around the pool which was perfect. The house is outfitted with all of the amenities you could need, including beach chairs, sand toys beach umbrellas etc which made our trips to the beach much more enjoyable. The location is fantastic as you can be at barefoot beach in about 5 minutes, or sitting on the patio at coconut Jacks in 4 minutes. We spent a lot of time in Estero visiting family, which is just a 15 minute drive and offers endless shopping and restaurant options. The house was clean upon our arrival and the hosts went over and above to ensure an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend.
