We had a beautiful stay at Abingdon House! The surrounds are beautiful and the pool (and spa) were a hit! Waking up to kangaroos on the property was an added bonus. The house was well equipped for everything you could need to be comfortable and feel at home. One thing that we were a bit disappointed in was the lack of fire pit and use of the fireplace as advertised. We had one cold, rainy day during our stay and wanted to light the fire, but had no wood. Contacted the owners who said it wasn’t available during summer season. This is fair enough, but just would have liked this to be communicated in advance, as the instructions discussed use of fireplace, and listing doesn’t mention this. (The kids were keen to roast their marshmallow by the fire pit!) :) Otherwise, a wonderful stay and throughly recommend!

We recently stayed at Abingdon’s and we had a lovely time. Beautiful home and host was great with communication and response times.

The perfect house to spend a few relaxing days in the country! The garden and living spaces are big enough so that you never feel on top of eachother. Note that it is a fair bit out of town but taxis can take you home easily if required
