Private and quiet cabin in Danbury. Less than 10 minutes away from a great golf course. Close to other bars and restaurants in the area. Clean cabin with a great screened in porch. Photos posted accurate to how the cabin looks! Would recommend to anyone wanting a little weekend get away!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Tall Moon Cabin! Coming from the city, it was a great escape to a slower pace and peaceful surrounding. The decor was wonderful, and all of the beds and blankets were so comfortable. Our young girls did not want to leave, and our dogs nestled right in too! We enjoyed a lot of down time reading, playing games, and doing puzzles. We ate many meals at the Voyager Village grill (breakfasts, lunch, and dinners!). Service and food were amazing, the staff were all so friendly. We went to the pool every day, and sometimes had the whole pool to ourselves! Owners were super responsive and kind, we are keeping this on our list of get aways!

We enjoyed our stay here! They had a slight miscommunication with having the cabin clean before our arrival, so they tried their best and it had a quick cleaning. Jack was responsive to correct the issue. The cabin is located in a great area. We used the private lake parks and trails quite a bit. We also enjoyed the clubhouse amenities such as the restaurant, tennis courts, and pool (which we often had to ourselves). The cabin was recently refreshed. It has nice decor and most things you'd need during a stay including ample firewood. The cabin is older and some items such as the exterior deck railings should be upgraded to be fully pet/child friendly. Just be aware that a small child or pet could easily fall off the front or back exterior deck areas if left unattended as there are large open areas in the railings. Overall, it's a great rustic cabin getaway that is pet-friendly in a location close to it all.
