Steven, the host, was extremely approachable at all times and clarified all our queries with ease. What stood out was that he personally came and attended to us on Good Friday (public holiday) for an issue that was entirely on me as I did not understand the instructions. All in all, a great person to deal with. I definitely recommend this place to large families and/or significant events' celebrations or just to get away from urban living. The quality of the furniture and other appointments is way above average and there are numerous things one can do outdoors over a period of a few days. Really loved the conservatory, the outdoor kitchen/fireplace and the walks around the vast property.
Outstanding property and team supporting Allpress Olive Grove’s ‘Ranch’. We had a group ranging in age from 9 to 83 and everyone had an incredible time. Every detail has been thought of, and the property is in fabulous condition throughout. The cottage is the same standard as the main house - exemplary! The 3 generation pool matches were a highlight. My family and I stayed here for my Mudbrick Waiheke wedding. It was absolutely sublime. The hosts were amazing, the facilities were amazing, it was so spacious and we never felt like we were on top of one another. So perfect for indoor outdoor dining and entertaining guests. The photos simply don't do it justice! Anyone reading this and looking to stay at the Church Bay Farmhouse, you will NOT be disappointed. Thanks Allpress for making my wedding week with my family so special!
We stayed at The Ranch as a get together for my daughters 18th birthday/school graduation. There were 10 18 year old girls, at no point was anyone bored. The property was amazing. I was a little unsure of the place before we arrived but given there were 12 of us we didn't have too many options on the island. All I can say is, if you are considering The Ranch, book it. It was so much better than the images would have you believe. Everything was spotless, the property is really expensively furnished and so private with a number of areas for everyone to get together. We will be back, for sure

The Ranch is located a 5-minute drive from Oneroa, the main township on the island. Oneroa has numerous shops, cafes, and restaurants, along with your local wine and grocery shop. Oneroa Beach is only a stone's throw away from the township offering a delightful walk down and refreshing swims on the hot summer days.
