We stayed here with our two boys while we visited the Lego House and Billund for a few days. The house is beautiful, spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. The family cat, Duchess, visited us occasionally, and the boys loved spending time with her. This area is right on the edge of Billund, and you will definitely need a car or be willing to pay for taxis to get to the centre of town, which is where all the restaurants and shops are. The area is wonderfully peaceful, though, and the neighbourhood is brimful of parks and playgrounds. Visitors should know that this is the hosts’ full-time home, and so the cupboards are full of a family’s normal personal belongings, food etc. This wasn’t a problem for us, though it did take us slightly by surprise since most of our recent Airbnb experiences have been dedicated rentals.

This is a very nice house and Marianne was very helpful and communicative. I must have failed to realize it was their main house and not solely a rental unit, so owners clothes are in closets, their food in fridge etc, but this didn’t pose any problems for us. It was a perfect location for visiting friends in Billund and all of the Lego fun in the area. I would stay here again if we came back to Billund.

We had a wonderful stay at Marianne’s house. Perfectly placed in a quiet neighbourhood close to all sights in Billund. Would definitely visit again.
