This was probably the best place we have stayed at in our 12 years of ‘Airbnbing”. The stream and the waterfalls were absolutely beautiful. Others have described the house as cozy which it was but it is not small or cramped. All the rooms were very spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fun to work in - amazingly equipped. The remote location added to the charm. You probably won’t have a phone reception when you get there so you might want to jot down the door code before leaving home. We would love to return in the future.

Although it rained most of our time, we enjoyed the farmhouse and surrounding land, as well as exploring the awesome towns. The creek was exceptional.

Our stay was AMAZING! This adorable and well stocked house is very cozy and has really great natural light. We got the instructions from Jim for the fireplace and enjoyed our evenings listening to their vinyls and watching the fire, which was a great touch! We used the kitchen all 3 days and lacked nothing. It was also very clean. The big windows in the kitchen are incredible to look out while cooking, they look over the brook. We took a short walk to check out the falls and since it was rainy most of the weekend the falls were really moving! Christine and Jim are fabulous hosts, they both were very quick to respond and helpful. We will definitely be back during the warmer months, the fire pit was calling our name! A magical spot! The home is comfortable, charming, modern-ish, well-furnished and has a fantastic kitchen. I rented the farmhouse to have a relaxing weekend with friends and I could not have asked for a better experience. Christine's home feels loved and cared for it. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with good (non-iodized) salt, olive oil and spices that weren't 3 years old. Sharp knives and great cookware, plus good linens and nice dishes to make every meal special. The beds, sheets and pillows are excellent. The living room is spacious and comfortable. With a brook running under a little bridge just feet from the kitchen door it felt like a dream. A beautiful waterfall spills onto huge bluestone slabs behind the house where you can loose track of time and let go of all your concerns. I'm almost reluctant to write such a glowing review because I'm worried it will be booked every day! It really is a special place. Thank you Christine and Jim, we'll be back!

Great house and beautiful surroundings. The kitchen and dining room were perfect to host dinners and it was very well laid out house. Even better that we were able to bring out pups and explore! Having the firewood provided was also so handy and made it so much easier. Thank you!
