Dear guests, We rent our house for the first time this year and we are looking forward to seeing you! We plan to install a wooden Swimming Pool (children safe) in April 2024. We have been working on our house for 14 years. You can use the interiors for sleeping and spend the rest of the day on the many spacious terraces and porches to enjoy the green lawn and flowers. Since this is a very original village house surrounded by nature, in summer you will find many white and pink bougainvillea leaves on the floors of the first floor, a beautiful sight. The house is very child friendly, the little ones will feel very comfortable here. In the workshop on the first floor there are various toys, beach stuff, balls, badminton, etc. The large bedrooms are not separated by doors. The bedrooms are separated, one is on the first floor, three are on the main floor. In summer there are figs fresh from the tree for breakfast, in June apricots, in winter oranges and tangerines, there is also a lemon tree in the middle between the two houses. Filter coffee, espresso, Greek mocha and a fine coffee grinder for the beans are available, and of course the typical Greek frappé. For fresh organic food such as meat, fruit, vegetables, cheese and eggs you can ask Vagelia, she will be happy to get these things for you in the village from the farmers. Those who enjoy hiking can look forward to a sea of olive groves as well as river and field bed landscapes. At the back of the village, the hills are a bit drier and teeming with herbs, thyme, sage and oregano that you can pick and take home for cooking. In winter you can watch the spectacular interplay of rain and sunshine. All this in the midst of a wonderful "spring" in front of the fireplace with winter fruit. There is a gas stove for traditional cooking, a washing machine, a dishwasher and several refrigerators. Vagelia can always provide you with fresh fruit or a basket of goodies. She can also show you how to make traditional pasta or how to make soap from olive oil. She can also show you how to weave small things yourself with a traditional weaving machine. If you need cleaning during your stay, please let us know and our cleaner Roula will take care of it. In the workshop you will find a large amount of contemporary literature, just to the right as you come in. 
 On the lawn there are air mattresses, umbrellas, a swing and hammocks. In 10 minutes by car you can reach Sitia with its beautiful city beach, numerous cafes, restaurants and shopping. In between lies the village of Piskokefalo, on whose main square three small taverns invite you to a romantic dinner in the evening. The table football field is lighted, please pay attention to the switch at the bottom of the forest.
