The house was excellent for our equestrian team to stay for their national horse show. The only part that was not ideal was having to take the trash off of the property. Fortunately we had access to a dumpster at the show grounds, but had we not it would have been a bigger issue. Great stay and experience, would like to see a better system next time for trash!

Great stay with a group of students for a school trip. Plenty of room for everyone! Host went above and beyond to ensure everything was up to standards. A very easy drive to TIEC and Lake Lure. As with many Airbnbs/houses in the area it is quite remote with limited cell service so plan accordingly. Even with limited service the Wifi worked great.

FALSE ADVERTISING!!! This is NOT a "Lakefront" house! The " brisk walk" is actually 10-15 minutes down (and back up) a steep trail or you can drive 5 minutes on another trail (no room to turn around) then walk 5 minutes. "With dock access, swimming, fishing, and lounging are also easily achievable" - not true and not easy. The portion of the lake you can access is too shallow for swimming and the bottom is so soft you sink up to your calves. I had asked the rental company's how long the walk was, and they just said "you can walk down a path to the main trail to the lake" without explaining just how far it was. We expected to be able to take chairs and a cooler to sit by or swim in the lake but this was not feasible. Instead, we drove to 20 minutes to Lake Lure and paid to use the public beach there. On a positive note, we loved the house and especially enjoyed the sunroom. It would have been a wonderful stay, if we had not been given false expectations about enjoying a lake

Six families came together for the weekend. We fell in love with this house. Just 1.5 hours from Charlotte, but you get the feeling its another world. A lot of things to do nearby: rafting, zip line, hiking and there is a trail to the nearby lake just 5 minutes from the home. Absolutely a comfortable home. Its a very large home and everything is very thought out. Everything you need for dreams and lasting memories. Any questions we had were answered instantly. We are delighted with the service and want to come here again so we look forward to the new adventures and excursions. Even the clear weather nights we had revealed amazing stars! Thank you for building an amazing getaway!

Such a beautiful, clean, and spacious home! It's not located on a lake or pond. You have to hike to the pond or drive to the lake. Overall, I would definitely visit again with my family.
