Nice apartment in Beyoglu close to Italian embassy in very quiet street, closed to traffic, and walking distance from main attractions. We enjoyed the stay and had good interactions with the host.

PRO. Very convenient location close to Istiklal, Tomtom streets and restaurants, but quiet. Newly renovated apartment with an AC. CONST. It's doesn't feel like someone's house, rather like one of numerous rental properties managed by a company: IKEA-like generic design, lack of basic features like a garbage bin in the kitchen/living room, no dryer/drying rack to dry clothes. The check-in instructions (including videos!) were made for a different place, so we couldn't get in for a while. The entrance had two narrow doors one of which we didn't manage to open and had to squeeze in every time. The floor wasn't properly cleaned, my wife stepped on something sharp and injured her leg. The wifi password provided in the instructions was incorrect. The lockbox was pretty worn out and didn't work smoothly.

The apartment is perfectly located - it's a quite place within walkable distance to the main Istiklal street, to the new Galata port, and to a tram station. You can get around Istanbul easily. There are also many great restaurants and several local convenient stores in the neighborhood. The apartment is brand new in a new building. It looks and feels fresh and nice. We definitely recommend the stay to explore wonderful Istanbul.

It was a very nice place, easy access to the most attractive places. The apartment had e everything we needed, but there was a problem with the hot water (a bit cold sometimes) in the bathroom.
