Elegant and cozy apartment in Palazzo de Gregorio, noble residence near the Port of Palermo. The apartment is located inside the main area of the building, accessible by lift, and has been recently renovated, transforming three floors into 9 apartments furnished with design elements and elegant antiques. Some of these apartments overlook the courtyard while others overlook the alley that runs along the Palace. The entrance opens onto a single open space characterized by ceilings with wooden beams and elegant details on the walls. The sleeping area features a queen-size bed and bedside tables, while the living area is furnished with a dining table and a kitchen hidden inside the boiserie, equipped with refrigerator, kettle and coffee machine. A bathroom with a shower completes the layout. At guests' disposal comfort such as air conditioning, heating and free wi-fi. Palazzo De Gregorio is a sumptuous historic residence of the mid-eighteenth century inhabited by the late 700 by the De Gregorio family and located near the Port of Palermo. The Palace, with its rooms and lounges, is built around an internal courtyard with a fountain in the style of a rocaille. Its halls today are used to host parties and events and retain the style, furniture and pomp of the time. The Palace hosted illustrious guests such as Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton and Richard Wagner during the period of Parsifal’s composition. Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war modern und gleichzeitig historisch angehaucht. Leider etwas hellhörig und das Leitungswasser roch etwas muffig. Der Palazzo an sich (mit weiteren Gewerken, Yoga, etc) ein Traum. Gut war auch, dass man das Auto direkt ums Eck kostenfrei parken konnte. Lediglich die Lage etwas ab vom Schuss direkt am Hafen. In die Innenstadt zu Fuß waren es etwa 40min. Der Palazzo, modernisiert, liegt in einer etwas abgelegenen Ecke des Hafens, was Spaziergang nachts ein wenig unbehaglich macht, teilweise ist es auch etwas laut. Aber dafür hat man seine Ruhe, was den Verkehr angeht. Die Kommunikation mit Anna verlief ohne Probleme, sie ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, das Bett bequem und das Badezimmer gut ausgestattet und hochwertig! Die Lage am Hafen ist in Ordnung, Parkplätze sind unmittelbar neben dem Gebäude zu finden. Anna ist eine superfreundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Wir haben gleich bei Ankunft sämtliche Informationen und Tipps rund um Palermo erhalten. Bei Zwischenfragen hatten wir sofort eine Antwort erhalten. Um in die Stadt zu gelangen haben wir E-Scooter genutzt, da vom Apartment ein Fahrradweg direkt in die Innenstadt führt. Klare Empfehlung für dieses Airbnb und Anna als Gastgeberin!
Le logement est exactement comme sur les photos, très spacieux pour deux personnes et bien équipé. Vous y trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin. L'hôte a été très réactive et flexible sur l'heure d'arrivée et de départ, et nous a même donné quelques conseils et recommandations sur la ville. Le seul bémol est l'emplacement de l'appartement : il se situe près du port, qui est un port industriel avec beaucoup d'usines (l'une des fenêtres de l'appartement donne sur l'une d'entre elles). Le centre-ville est à 30-40 minutes à pied et les routes ne sont pas forcément favorables aux piétons. Si vous prévoyez de louer une voiture, je pense que cela rendra votre séjour plus agréable.
