Kandra’s place is a great value and extremely peaceful. I appreciate her offering an affordable option in the Saint Mary’s area. The location is very quiet, residential , and felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again.

Kandra was a very responsive host. She responded immediately to my messages. We only briefly saw her two dogs, but they were both incredibly well behaved. Kandra’s house is about 3 miles or so from downtown St Mary’s in a small development. The house looks like the pictures, except for our room with the twin beds was bigger than what I thought it was going to be. Which was a nice surprise! We had the use of the kitchen, which was quite well stocked. The twin beds are not all that comfortable, but are fine for an overnight stay. I will say that her other room has a queen bed and it looked like it was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower had enough pressure, but the hot water was not quite hot enough for me. And if you are sensitive to scents, you should know that there is a scented smell in the house. Overall, though, Kendra’s place filled our needs, and it would have been even better if the other room had been available.

I needed a place to sleep, to cook meals for myself, and to work on writing projects while I waited for renovations to my house to be completed. The room that I rented in Kandra's house, together with the access to the kitchen and dining room table where I could sit working, was just the ticket.

Great place to crash for the night. Place was clean and had no issues during my stay. Definitely recommended!
