Great cottage, water is deep enough around the dock for swimming, the cottage was clean and had everything that we needed. Would recommend!!

My family just returned home after a wonderful summer getaway. The cottage was as beautiful as the photos, was easy to find and check in was a breeze. The kitchen was the most well-equipped I have ever seen in a B&B! All of the bedrooms were very comfortable and well supplied with linens, pillows and towels. Our daughter and her friend (12 and 9yrs old) loved the bunkbeds and the extra space downstairs. My Mum (80+) was very happy with her room on the main floor so she could use all of the amenities, including the large upper deck, all on one level. I can't say enough about the waterfront view, the dock with its classic red chairs, and all of the water toys available. We spent so much time playing on the big yellow Lily Pad, canoeing and learning how to SUP. The water was calm and the lake was very quiet during our 4 day stay. It was wonderful to hear the girls laughing all weekend while they played. In the evening we enjoyed a variety of board games and relaxed. Thank you Karen!

We had a really lovely family vacation at Karen’s cottage. The cottage itself is really beautiful and homey but the absolute best part is definitely the dock by the water. Karen is really generous and includes lots of water toys and fun things with the rental and the Parry Sound area is really gorgeous. We would absolutely stay there again!

This spectacular waterfront cottage is immaculately clean and very well-equipped. From corkscrews to condiments, paddle boards to chair pads, everything was considered and provided. The multi-level decks allow for privacy or gathering, and the dock is a lovely place to laze in the sun and swim. If you can tear yourself away, the Saturday market in McKellar is a superb place to score some butter tarts, maple syrup, Italian bread and cheeses, and seasonal produce. Karen was an exceptional communicator and access to the cottage was easy. Absolutely recommend for a restorative stay.
