We loved our stay. Was a beautiful spot. So peaceful. We felt very comfortable and right at home. The host was amazing. Will be going back in the future.

Very cute little place. Perfect for a simple get away. Walking distance to the beautiful beach and little country club. Obviously you can swim in the ocean but there is a stream connecting the river to the ocean you can cool off in, perfect for kids. The owner lives next to the cabin so if you want a bit of a noisier holiday it wouldn't be good, but perfect if you want to just sit on the beautiful deck amongst the trees and relax with a wine. Will be coming back for sure

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Paperbark Cabin! Lyndal has clearly put a lot of time into the personal touches to make the cabin cozy and comfortable. The location is peaceful and beautiful and was a great getaway from city-life. The ferry ride from Darwin is easily doable and the cabin itself is a very short walk from the beach where the sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous. The kitchen is well-stocked, the kettle and camp stove work great, and the outdoor shower is private and clean. Lyndal is very communicative and will definitely help you if you need anything while there. And she has a precious dog named Cami who brightened our stay :) 10/10 would recommend staying a few nights at Paperbark Cabin if you come to the Darwin area!
