Casa di Elisa is located in Sesto Fiorentino, 10 km from the center of Florence and 6 km from the Florence airport. The center of Florence can be reached in 10 minutes by train (from Zambra station, distance from the house 800 meters) or by bus (lines 28 and 2, distance from the house 300 meters). The apartment (equipped with Wifi, towels and bed sheets) consists of: a living room, kitchen with fridge and coffee machine, a bedroom, a bathroom, hairdryer and washer dryer, a terrace with a table. Casa di Elisa is a two-room apartment on the first floor, there is no shared space. At the entrance there is an equipped kitchen, relax area with sofa and TV. From this area there is access to a small terrace where there is a table. A double bedroom and a bathroom complete the apartment. In Casa di Elisa, there is a washer-dryer, drying rack, iron, as well as wifi, towels and bed sheets.

Elisa je bila odlična gostiteljica, hitro odzivna na sporočila, poslala je video kako priti do stanovanja, kar je bilo zelo uporabno. Velik plus je brezplačno parkirišče tik ob stanovanju. Opis stanovanja se 100% sklada s tem kar je v resnici. Je popolnoma opremljeno. Lijak in štedilnik sta bila zelo čista. Kljub temu, da sva bila z možem od jutra do večera v centru Firenc, sva si zjutraj in zvečer pripravila enostavne obroke. Kozice v stanovanju so se mi zdele umazane, zato sem jih pred uporabo pomila. Tudi hladilnika se ne da odpreti popolnoma in kavomat je bil zamaščen. Sicer pa je z vlakom do centra Firenc zelo enostavno in hitro. Od stanovanja do postaje Zambra je cca 7 min peš. Vožnja z vlakom traja cca 10-15 min. Vozovnica za vlak je 1,60eur na osebo za eno smer, kar se mi ni zdelo drago. Je pa potrebno gledati urnik, ker vlaki ne vozijo pogosto. Za obisk Firenc, sploh če prihajate z avtom, je to stanovanje odlična izbira.

Our stay in Elisa’s place was good. It looks like the photos and Elisa was kind enough to let us check in an hour early. Although the apartment is close to the Zambra station which gets you to Firenze S.M quickly, the train does not come and go as frequently as we had hoped. Monday- Saturday it leaves from Zambra once an hour or more however Sunday the first train to Florence was not until 1pm. The biggest issue was getting from Florence to Zambra as there are only trains once an hour and the last one is at 8:59pm and then the next one is at 12:30am. This did limit our time in florence by quite a bit as Uber’s from the city are very expensive. We did go to a nice local restaurant near the apartment which was quite yummy. The apartment was comfortable enough and quite spacious. Overall for the price it was a good stay however the commute was frustrating at times.

Great place, close to Firenze, Train station 5 min walk. 15 min. by train to the center of Firenze. Good restaurants and close to supermarket as well. Elisa is on top of everything.

Sesto Fiorentino, located along the road axis that connects Florence to Prato, is served by the toll booths Calenzano-Sesto Fiorentino, and Sesto Fiorentino, located respectively along the A1 and A11 highway.
The railway station, common to the Florence-Prato-Pistoia and Bologna-Florence lines, is served by regional trains that cover the Pistoia-Prato-Florence-Pontassieve-Montevarchi underground connection with frequent runs, from 5 in the morning to midnight.
It can also be reached by various bus lines (2, 28) from Florence.
Near Casa di Elisa there are 2 large supermarkets, within walking distance (Esselunga and Coop), and bars.
There are several parks and Medici villas in the area, such as the park of Villa Solaria, the park of Villa Gamba (Il Neto), the Uliveta park, the Bardo Corsi Salviati garden.

Casa di Elisa can be reached by car (the toll booths of the A1 and A11 highways are very close) which can be easily and freely parked in the streets adjacent to the apartment. In the area you can move towards the center of Florence both by train and by buses (lines 2 and 28) whose stops are within walking distance of the apartment.
