This lovely old house (built c1800) is nestled in a quiet side street, set in the historic medieval town of Saint Leonard de Noblat. It is a very short stroll away from the central square; where shops, bars and restaurants can be found. There is secure space for a small car (locked garage) and for a car to park directly outside. There is also free off street parking is less than one minute away. This quirky home has some modern features, whilst retaining its character and charm. Pets welcome. Large foyer - as this is an old stone building -this place is cool! (even in summer! ). Though, there is no air conditioning - this will not affect your comfort at all! Staircase to first floor. Photographs of Saint Leonard de Noblat line the oak beamed stairs. First floor - Small family bathroom with bath/shower, hand basin and toilet. Fully equipped with toiletries - to include shower gel, shampoo with conditioner and hand wash. Extractor fan. Heated towel rail. Separate toilet. With toilet brush and toilet roll stand-with toilet roll provided for your stay. Small bathroom bin. Large lounge - with 2 sofas (one of which is a sofa bed), modern lighting and heating (including electric fireplace). 2 coffee tables. *Fast Wi-Fi* 50 inchTV (with Netflix, Disney plus and Amazon Prime provided for guests entertainment pleasure) a DVD player and an old chess table and games set (should you accept the games challenge!). Some tourist literature will be provided (some details of restaurants can also be found on our photo pages). Throws and pillows make this a comfortable place to relax. Kitchen - Fully fitted kitchen with electric hob, oven, extractor fan, a large fridge with small freezer, microwave, kettle, nespresso coffee machine, toaster. Large table and 4 chairs. N.B. Tea, coffee, coffee pods, sugar and biscuits are all provided. There is also a full range of cooking condiments which mean you won’t have to buy these items should you wish to cook or enjoy food at home. Small kitchen bin. N.B. All cleaning materials can be found underneath the kitchen sink. A hoover, mop and bucket, dustpan and brush are provided for use of guests. Staircase to 2nd floor. And as of April 2024 - a new shower room on the second floor too! Bedroom 1 - one double bed. 2 bedside cabinets with side lamps. Tissue box. One large wardrobe. Modern ceramic heating unit. Photographs of Saint Leonard de Noblat decorate the wall as well as a leather bound mirror and some ‘garden’ wall art. Part of the room still retains the old oak beam and floral wallpaper, giving a warm rustic feel to the room. Bedroom 2 - one double bed (slightly larger than in bedroom 1). 2 bedside cabinets with side lamps, tissue box. There is modern storage with hangers, for clothes and/or shoes. The room has the old oak beam and a fireplace (not in use) which adds to the rustic charm of this room. Photographs of Saint Leonard de Noblat decorate the wall as well as a large oak mirror and some ‘garden’ wall art. Part of the room still retains the old oak beam and floral wallpaper, giving a warm rustic feel to the room. All of these features along with the luxurious bedding, should provide a good nights sleep (!). All hand and bath towels are provided for your stay. Full shower room - spacious shower cabin with shower head and large overhead shower. Large sink and toilet. There is a towel rail which can also provide heating. The modern light also activates the electric fan.
