A lovely house. The upstairs room with the sleeper couch was hot and the sleeper couch very small for the two people it advertised. The windows and beds had no mosquito nets and this was a huge problem. With only one fan in the house to keep the mosquitos away it became problematic even in the one room as the power went out / load shedding in the night. The house and pool was otherwise lovely. Hosts were friendly and responsive and the garden beautiful, shaded and relaxing.

A beautiful place to match their beautiful family! The facilities were exactly as they described, even more beautiful in person! Peaceful, safe, and a perfect place to go to disconnect from the city life. It was our first time experiencing an off the grid farm stay so we were unprepared for a few things however they were so helpful and accommodating, we felt like we were visiting family. As they came to check on us, they overheard that there’s a birthday girl so they came back to sing for her, with baked goods in hand. 100% would recommend staying here. Can’t wait to come back! Excellent Stay and highly recommended We have visited more than 30 countries around the world and the hospitality from the hosts ranks in the top 3 that we have experienced over the many years that we have been travelling. Location was ideal and close to the Game Park. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. There was a slight mix up with our booking but this was resolved efficiently. Kitchen was well equipped and beds very comfortable. We had a great holiday and we would highly recommend. Extremely peaceful and quiet in the middle of the bush (except the animal sounds at night which was a welcome break). The night sky was amazing. Tip: We spent a bit of time trying to locate the place. Look for the StaalBoer signage on Kloppersbos Road. The hosts may be able to provide a map (we booked at the last moment). Bentley and his wife are extremely helpful. We found the 2 day self drive pass through the Game Park to be very good value Thank you Bentley and family
