Few miles from the southern coast, our exquisite estate, designed by the renowned landscape architect Gabriel Berriz, offers inspiring views on its different terraces to the Southern Mountains & Caribbean Sea, artificial lakes, picturesque trails which guide around the flora & fauna, breathtaking pool surrounded with lounge chairs to soak up sun's gentle rays and a private recreation room. Escape to La Comuna at Hacienda Simaruba & prepare to be enchanted by this charming space that offers a truly inviting atmosphere. The thematic of our estate are the cities of Puerto Rico and iconic places. La Comuna consist of 4 different Villas, Private Full equipped kitchen, Private Dining Room, Private Pool with heater, Private Recreation Room, Private terraces with panoramic views and a variety of places for seating, eating and relaxing while enjoying breathtaking views. Now let's step inside the Villas; 1. Villa Morovis- 2 bedrooms, each with 1 queen size bed and one bathroom 2. Villa Orocovis- 1 bedroom queen size bed and one bathroom 3. Villa Guaynabo- 1 bedroom queen size bed and one bathroom 4. Villa Utuado- 1 bedroom with two queen size beds and one bathroom. All villas are well equipped with AC, Smart Tv, small refrigerator & microwave. Now let’s step outside and start with our well-equipped kitchen which contains from utensils, pots & pans to air fryer, ice maker and water machine for our esteemed guests indulge in culinary delights. Enjoy your dining experience in the cozy dining area, or on the 3 private terraces to dine alfresco, surrounded and overlooking the beauty of nature. Aside of the dining tables and seating’s, on our terrace you will find two BBQ’s, hammock, darts game, and domino table. A recreation Room consisting of AC, Pool table, Smart TV and reclining sofas is also part of La Comuna private areas.

Verdaderamente no hay palabras para describir el lugar . Es un lugar increíble . Tienen unos muy buenos encargados del lugar , Edwin y su esposa fueron súper increíbles y amorosos , muy atentos en si necesitábamos algo. Sinceramente volveríamos a este lugar
Where to start…. Getting there was definitively an adventure…… Once we made it, I must say it was completely worth it! Hacienda Simaruba is definitively a hidden paradise. The photos on the website are pretty good, but they don’t capture the magic of this place. The amazing energy and peace that you feel when you enter the hacienda is unbelievable. Almost everything was perfect. The Wi-Fi is not great, and Villa Guaynabo could use a bigger TV, but aside from that the pool was awesome, the Kitchen was very comfortable and well-equipped, the game room was great too, and the overall ambiance was stunning. The views are spectacular, definitively a place to unwind and relax. I must say bring your food ahead of time, because once you are there you will not have any desire to leave, as we did. Edwin and Millie (the amazing staff on the premises) made us feel welcome throughout the entire stay, like part of our family even. Definitively an experience to remember. We can’t wait to return.
Escogimos Hacienda Simaruba para pasar un fin de semana largo, entre cinco parejas de amigos. Comienzo con decir que no hay foto o video que pueda hacerle justicia a la belleza del lugar. A eso hay que añadirle que las facilidades están muy bien mantenidas, equipadas y ambientadas hasta el último detalle. El recibimiento de Edwin y Milly fue muy dedicado y profesional. Se mantuvieron disponibles y diligentes de principio a fin transmitiendo el amor con el que cuidan la propiedad. ¡Ya queremos volver!

This weekend was magical! Had an amazing family time. The place is beautiful and spacious, even better than the photos. Rooms are comfortable and the view from the terraces is amazing. Will be staying again!

Welcome to Guayama & Salinas! Nestled on the limits of both charming town, our property belongs to two welcoming and safe neighborhoods; Ranchos de Guayama & Quebrada Yeguas Salinas. Both known for its friendly locals and warm hospitality. Aside of the exquisites views and the tranquility of being on this location, it also offer an ideal base to explore the coastal paradise of Salinas since although our property is at the mountains it still less than 25 minutes driving from the coast charming town of Salinas where you will find coastal culinary hotspots for those food enthusiasts, different bars with stunning views and even a boat and jet-ski ramp for those boaters.
Our retreat designed property is the perfect haven with a unique atmosphere that inspire guests to create lasting memories and cherish quality time with their loved ones in a warm and welcoming environment.
To fully enjoy your time at our property, it is highly recommended to rent a car at the airport upon your arrival. Having your own vehicle will provide you with the utmost flexibility and convenience to explore the area and make the most of your stay. Aside of transportation services like Uber and Cab not being very accesible on the area. We also highly recommend our beloved guests to go Grocery shopping before they arrival to the property, cause we can assure that once you arrived to La Comuna you'll not want to go out again.
