This place was amazing! Marc was responsive to all our questions. Finding the wine cellar was a fun adventure- we are still laughing about it! The location was great- close to everything! A few tips to fellow travelers- while you could walk everywhere from the house- we even walked all the way to the touristy part of river walk our first day, there were places where the sidewalks were closed and did not feel the safest to walk with a kid- I would suggest driving to the Pearl or the Art Museum for cheap/free parking and then accessing the river walk from there- save your steps for the scenic walks! You can also Uber to both places for under $10. Elsewhere was a great place to eat and drink nearby while our kid played on the slides and fed the ducks. If you walk the opposite way from the touristy part of the river walk from elsewhere- there’s some really cool art installations underneath the bridge. Also loved going to Hopscotch in town. It was a wonderful stay! Highly recommend.

Great stay for five adults and two pugs! Neat historical house. Location is good - easy to get to places to see and enjoy. Clean house, welcoming and friendly host. Would stay again!

A cozy and convenient respite from everything to do in San Antonio. A few blocks of walking in either direction lands you at some great dining and entertainment options. Heart of SA activities are only minutes away by car. Easy and quick access to the highway. The place is exactly as described and immaculate. We really enjoyed our stay here. Due to the nature of the house and us being downstairs we could hear the guests in the upper suite (separate entrance) but fortunately the folks there at the same time as us seemed to be respectful of that fact. I could see where it might not always be so perfect depending on who shows up. Overall a great space in a great location with a great host! Would stay here again!

House was renovated very well, small fridge but didn’t need anything more than some space to store some beers for the night. The house lists 8 places to sleep but the roll out cot/bed is stored in a closet. Wish there was check in instructions to locate it. “The surprise Wine cellar” did have some wine in there but one of the bottles had already been opened and seemingly drank from but was still available to us as guests. Great communication (texted around 11pm due to some door code issues and immediately received a response).
