Our house is situated near the highest point on Mt. Gaylor, just south of Winslow, AR , with magnificent views of the Boston mountains. The 1,700 sqft house has living room and kitchen-dining downstairs, 2 bedrooms upstairs. There is a small deck with four rocking chairs off the bedrooms and a large two-level deck downstairs with an outdoor dining table and chairs. The nearest supermarket in West Fork is about 20 minutes. Fayetteville and the U of A are about 30 minutes-- all beautiful minutes.

This Airbnb of Douglas' is extraordinary. We have traveled the world and the U.S., and I believe this is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. Douglas Airbnb is at the top of our list of places to stay. He has large windows that overlook the Boston mountains of the Ozarks! The house is very clean and homey and hard to leave! We had a wonderful experience, found a great place to hike! Thank you Douglas!!

The neighborhood is rural, but Hwy 71 (from Winslow) follows a ridgeline at an elevation of a little over 2,000 ft. So houses are built on the ridgeline to take advantage of the view to the east and the west. The eastern view is the most dramatic. The valley bottom east of the house is about 1,000 ft. About 200 yards to the north are the Ozarks Folkways center (arts, crafts, and sometimes music on weekends) and the Sky View Cabins (which has some of the best pizza in Arkansas, Fri to Sun).
Park in the grass in the front of the house or on the north side of the house. There is room plus for 3 or 4 cars.
