The living room and the kitchen were clean .. However the rest of the house was very poorly presented , poorly fitting bathroom flooring , wall tiles missing, and some broken, some painting begun and then unfinished. The house felt unloved , some effort had been made to refurbish the family bathroom and the downstairs WC but the ensuite was depressingly poor, lime scale and verdigreen were thick on the washbasin taps the cubicle shower moved when I moved in it and felt unsafe. Everywhere tiling and paintwork had been badly fitted it was very depressing. What was most distressing was that the house was cold for the majority of the time and as it is almost December I needed to buy hot water bottles for bedtime and to use when sitting on the sofa. There were no instructions what's so ever eg. TV, kitchen equipment fire in the living room.A folder with would have been useful . there were no leaving instructions so I stripped the beds and placed the bedding and towels in the bath

We had a lovely time at the property. It is a situated in a quiet relaxed cul-de-sac. Ideally located for the A1M. Check-in instructions were straightforward and clear. We were pleased to see the basic kitchen amenities were present for some self-catering. Bread, cereal and Milk was provided for breakfast. The three good sized bedrooms were perfect for the four of us (two adults and two children). We had access to the garden if we so wished although the weather was not clement enough. Sean was good enough to check in on us to ensure all was ok especially the heating. All in all we enjoyed our stay, it was comfortable, quiet and clean.
