It was a good stay for me at the property. I initially booked for a longer duration but requested Myles to cut short by a week post my booking. He was generous enough to provide me the initial refund for that week. Post my arrival, he was available till late night to ensure that I have a pleasant check-in. Property is quite small but decent from a location perspective. I would recommend the property to anyone who is travelling solo. Also, Myles respects guests privacy and doesn’t constantly nag for minor things. Single room provided to me had all the listed amenities in a good working condition. Additionally, one has free access to common areas as well as the kitchen. One can always cook stuff based on their preferences. A lot of shops like coles and other supermarkets are at walkable distance -so you’re never far away from anything additionally required. Best thing is that though I checked out a week early, Myles was kind enough to promise me a free one week stay for my next trip.

Myles has a great apartment. The room that I had stayed in was clean, nice and cosy. Kitchen has amenities for you to prepare your food, and there is room in the fridge for your stuff. Apartment is around a 10 minute walk to the shopping district and around 15 minutes from the train station. There is a nice park around the corner where you can take your morning and evening walks. Myles is responsive to enquiries and readily available to help. Overall, a great stay. :)

myles place was great, he is very friendly, the room was nice and big and the double bed was very comfortable. about 5 to 10 minute walk to clayton station and about 5 minutes to coles and the shops. certainly value for money.

At the time that I made the booking, Myles' profile did not mention that he was a smoker. I have a sensitive nose, so my first few days here was quite distressing - even though he smokes on the balcony outside the house, the smoke does seep into the house and gets trapped due to a lack of ventilation. He was away with his family for the Christmas holidays so I got a week of the place to myself without smoke, but I had to cancel the rest of my 3-week stay at his place with no refund (a friend put me up for the rest of my stay, thankfully). After the Christmas holidays (but not before) he did go for walks whenever he wanted to smoke and it wasn't too cold out, so there was some effort to accommodate on his part, possibly with Ian's intervention. Another underplayed aspect was the WiFi connection - the network is slow and on a data budget. I used my mobile data which was much more stable. Kitchen surfaces were sticky, nonstick pans damaged, I bought my own pan, sponge and detergent.

I spent a month at Myle's place and I had a wonderful time there. The check-in and check-out process were smooth and flexible. The location is very close to Clayton station and there are bus services available right in front of the house, even if u managed to miss the bus like I did' you could always walk (850m). The house is clean, especially my room was well kept and the common space was also tidy. Overall I had a great stay at Myle's place and I would recommend it.
