The views were incredible, and the location worked well. The tennis court was very nice, and an unexpected bonus. Be aware that there is no A/C, so you need to manage heat with the windows. Nice breezes, so it was ok once we figured it out.

We had a lovely 4-day stay with spectacular views to the Doubtless Bay! Would love to come back again The unit: Much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Has amazing views to the bay - both from the bedroom as well as the living room. Nothing like having a glass of wine in the balcony or waking up to the sound of waves. The unit is also well furnished and has all the listed amenities (btw loved the high pressure walk-in showers!). Also has a huge TV in the living room but we didn't watch (the real view is better!). There is also a nice tennis court at the compound and the staff at the reception are super friendly. Location: In addition to spectacular views to the Doubtless Bay, it is walking distance to the beach and was perfect location for our day trips to Cape Reinga, drive the 90-mile beach and sandboard the Te Paki dunes (we were lucky to find boards to rent at the dunes) , Bay of Islands and Mangonui (the famous fish and chip is definitely worth it!). Definite recommend!!
