We very much enjoyed our stay at the Acorn Cottage! Kate is a great host, she is very friendly and helpful. The place has everything you need, it is very clean and spacy. Also, you wake up to the wonderful view of Ben Nevis from your window!

From the moment we arrived and saw the gardens; then the accommodation, we felt both at home and knew we had made the right choice of locations to spend our first family holiday in more than twenty years. A quick guided tour by Kate on arrival and a slab of lemon drizzle cake to make the arrival both simple and welcoming. Everything we needed, as well as what we didn't realise we needed, till we found it was here. If you like both a stunning property as well as the most glorious garden, then this is the place for you. What you see in the photographs cannot begin to give you a glimpse into how well you will fit into this place. Waking early, opening the windows in the lounge and simply taking in the morning air as well as the amount of wildlife that also calls the garden home cannot start your day any better. Thank you Kate for making us feel both at home and wanted. I would love to say we will be back, but a poor track record for taking time off work speaks for itself. Jon, Sue & Ema

Kate is a great host. We really felt at home during our stay. Fully equipped kitchen. Great two-level apartment layout for a group of four. Very cosy living room with a great view.
